GOLDFISH CRACKERS
programs used: PROCREATE, ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR, ADOBE LIGHTROOM, ADOBE PHOTOSHOP
Goldfish crackers are driving into a sea of fun with a splash of imagination! In my three ad series for a kids magazine spread, these smiling little crackers come to life, exploring, whimsical, underwater worlds that feel like a coloring book waiting to be filled in. What are your swimming through coral castles, playing hide and seek in coral, reefs, or making friends with friendly sea life, each scene captures the playful spirit of goldfish. It's an adventure where kids are invited to join in, bringing color and creativity to every dive.
ROUGH SKETCHES
The idea behind this project was to give it a coloring book type vibe, Ads that you might find in a kids Highlights Magazine. For this project I sketched out 3 rough ideas for what I was trying to go for. I decided that I would photograph the goldfish crackers and use illustration to use simple line drawings for the deep sea scenes, leaving the scene open to the possibility of being colored by the viewer.
PHOTO SHOOT
I used a combination of tripod lighting, my digital camera on a tripod and a white poster board to set up a scene to get the gold fish cracker photographed. After I took the photos in to Lightroom and edited them to make them brighter and closer to the brand advertising specs.

FINAL DRAFTS
In the specifications on this project it was required that the final drafts be in CMYK for printing purposes. So I convert each of the RGB colors that are used in to CMYK for the final round.
